Things have been busy here at eco+historical.  Our 1566 Sanchez project has a builder and is ready to start construction and we just finished the design of 1436 Sanchez and are off to the structural engineers at Double D Engineering.

The 1436 Sanchez project is pretty exciting.  We’ve taken this home that appears huge from the street

but which is actually just a 1200 sqft 2BR/1BA home and have both connected the garage to the house and redesigned to take full advantage of the possible interior space – nearly tripling the square footage and getting 5BR/3.5BA out of the home with virtually no exterior additions.  From the front, in fact, you’d hardly guess that the home had changed much from how it was when it was built in 1903 (or when the garage was added in 1924).

Check out all of the new final plans on the project page here.
